Religion cannot save anyone from anything. Jesus can save us and heal us and give us His righteousness if we will believe on Him and In Him. Believing in a religious system will not give us access to God the Father. Only genuine faith in Christ Jesus can allow us access into the Heavenly Father's presence. There is true love, Grace and Healing there.

He was a baptist man, He believed in his church
He did not understand religion does not work
He didn't know Jesus and he didn't know God

Chorus:
Religion and theology they have no power
They won't comfort you or give you strength
to help you in your darkest hour
They won't cleanse you like the precious blood
They won't heal you like the Holy Word
Religion and theology will not save you
